Griff's Kitchen & Bar is a neighborhood restaurant in Candler, NC, just outside Asheville, serving approachable, well-made American food in a casual, welcoming space.
We opened in 2020 with a simple goal of creating a place where people could come in for lunch or dinner, bring their family, meet friends, grab a drink, and feel at home. Since then, Griff's has grown into the kind of place we always hoped it would be: a comfortable, familiar, family-friendly spot rooted in the Enka-Candler community.
Our menu is built around food people actually want to eat, balancing familiar favorites with dishes that give us room to be creative. You might find burgers, fish & chips, and juicy steaks alongside steamed buns, arancini, shrimp and grits, seasonal entrées, and whatever special we've talked ourselves into making that week. Some days it's a burger and a beer. Some days it's dinner, cocktails, and something you haven't tried before.
Mostly, Griff's is about taking care of people. Good food, good drinks, casual dining, and a neighborhood place where regulars, families, friends, and first-timers can all feel like they belong.
